A close reading of Taipei’s historic city core, recalling the Western-style buildings along Futai Street and the New Modern eclecticism that blends classical detail with contemporary form.
Chief Designer Sheng-Cheng Wang of posAmo distilled the stories of the land and its cultural character, infusing the spatial narrative with soul.
Under the theme “Taipei City in Memory,” the design draws from Tamsui’s sunset glow, river transport, century-old cadastral maps, architectural arches, and the memory of Beimen, crafting for Sunty Downtown a public space defined by retro elegance and cultural depth.
